Worship involves our entire relationship with
God: our words, our attitudes, and our actions. Our words may
be normal conversation, songs or prayers. In any style of speaking,
we can declare God's praises and express our faith reliance on
him.
God wants worship not only on our lips, but also in our hearts.
He wants our worship to be sincere — he wants to be the most important
thing in our lives, that we are truly submissive to him. He wants
our worship to affect our behavior, that we make sacrifices, that
we put to death the deeds of selfishness, that we seek justice,
be merciful and humble, and help others. He wants us not just
to obey him, but to serve in ways that go beyond specific commands.
We are to worship wherever we go, doing all things to God’s glory,
praying always, giving thanks always, never ceasing to be a temple
of the Holy Spirit. Our worship involves how we work, how we drive,
and how we choose what to watch on television.
There are also actions that are more specifically times of worship.
We might call these private devotions, or spiritual disciplines.
These are habits and actions of worship we do individually, as
opposed to worship when we gather as a church.
Worship is not restricted to a specific place and time. The best
thing that has ever happened to us is that we have God in our
lives. The best thing that's happened to us this week is that
we have God in our lives. We have reason to celebrate all the
time. When we live each day praising God in our hearts, it is
natural that we praise God when we gather together, when we speak
to one another about the best thing that's ever happened to us.
We worship all the time, but we also worship together at specific
times at meetings designated for that specific purpose.
Condemnation is one of the most effective weapons Satan uses against the believer.
It is a decree of judgment. It is the decision (whether severe or mild) which one passes on the faults of others, the punishment or sentence that you receive from the judge for the wrong or offense that you have committed.
Condemnation is a disease to the spirit that weakens you, it brings a sense of guilt and unworthiness that hinders you from moving forward, rendering you ineffective (paralyzed).
Condemnation also means that something is fit only for destruction. The word of God says that we are justified (made righteous) through Christ Jesus and also that his mercies are NEW EVERY MORNING! Whether you have just begun your Christian walk or have been in it for any length of time you will be faced with this challenge!
The bible says in
Romans 8:1-3
1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
John 5:24
24 I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.
Please understand that this DOES NOT mean that
you except Christ and continue on sinning!! You are a new creature,
old things are passed away and all things are new! It means
that if you should find yourself in sin, he is faithful and
just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
It is impossible to submit to Christ and sin at the same time!
Accepting Jesus as Lord into your life means he's in control,
not you. You are to obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit; he
will never lead you into sin, but away from it. As Christ is
being formed in you, he's changing your sinful nature and giving
you his nature.
Be encouraged, believe God's word and Live!!!
We serve a God of Covenant; who is bound by his
own word "I will be your God, you will be my people, there
shall be no other God before me.". The covenant that was
made between God and his people is an everlasting covenant that
was sealed with blood. The blood of his only son. This act alone
gives us an idea of how committed God is to his word (promises)
and to his people. Exodus 34:7 talks about the iniquity of the
father being visited on the children and grandchildren to the
3rd and 4th generation.
This covenant was to be passed down from generation
to generation by the fathers.
The breaking of the covenant was passed down through the generations,
resulting in the penalty of this sin reigning in the lives of
the offspring's.
These penalties are commonly called curses. Because
of the act of one man Adam, the curse of sin has been passed down
from generation to generation. But God sent us a remedy from these
curses. Through faith in one man Jesus, You can reestablish the
covenant between you and God and be released from the curse of
Sin and death.
We break covenant when we allow something other than God to rule
us, making us bow down and serve it. This spirit of iniquity is
a force on the inside, that causes us to bow and bend to its destructive
nature. Sin is not judged by size or number, All SIN IS SIN and
has a price tag that must be paid.
When Christ died he paid the debt for all your sins in FULL! This covenant makes you an inheritor of every promise that was made to Father Abraham. We are his seed, Jesus blood purges your conscience from dead works and removes the guilt and condemnation that sin leaves on you. You are a new creation with a new life, forget the things behind you and press forward in Christ, don't get tangled up again with the yoke of bondage that you have been freed from. You are made Righteous through Christ, so LIVE!!!!!!!!!!
Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed
us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it
is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through
Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith.
